От много време насам се каня да направя една тема за тези титани! Akercocke е една от малкото групи с наистина уникално звучене!!! Започнали като дет група, те започват да се се развиват, като в музиката им се прокрадва солидно количество блек метъл. Редом с това се усещат и доста прогресив метъл влияния. Изобщо- бруталност, мелодичност, бичкия и акустични моменти в едно!!! Всеки фен, който не ги е чувал, и е с по-разкрепостен вкус, би трябвало да им хвърли по едо ушо!

Според мен е точно обратното - в Rape of the Bastard Nazarene има огромно количество блек, доколкото в последният блекът освен че е и по-малко, се смесва с прога и дета и... абе става си нещо уникално. Иначе са велики, да. Яко е, че изчистиха стила си и правят нещо собствено.
